Fusion Application is a version of Oracle that combines the original software functionalities as well as the acquisitions capabilities, taking the best of all ERP systems. Oracle Fusion is the next generation of Oracle E-Business Suite [EBS]. This software helps with the areas of Financials, Supply chain management, HRMS and many other areas that keep a business efficient. These areas are grouped into modules and can be sold altogether or in separate parts to businesses.

A major benefit to Oracle Fusion is its ability to integrate with these hybrid architectures of Cloud and legacy frameworks through their technical Cloud infrastructure and platform offerings that encourage external development within their open-standards architecture.
Oracle also have a product called Fusion Middleware which consists of several software products from Oracle Corporation, to connect the ERP system to other parts of the IT ecosystem with minimal disruption. It includes what Oracle calls "hot-pluggable" architecture, designed to facilitate integration with existing applications and systems from other software vendors such as IBM, Microsoft, and SAP.
FMW spans multiple services, including Java EE and developer tools, integration services, business intelligence, collaboration, and content management. FMW depends on open standards such as BPEL, SOAP, XML and JMS.
Oracle Fusion Middleware provides software for the development, deployment, and management of service-oriented architecture (SOA).
